Canine Formula
"As a veterinarian, I am exposed to many new supplements. Most of them fail to meet their claims. Health-Gard is a new product that really has meet their claims. Six months I introduced Health-Gard into my kennel with great results. Prior to using Health-Gard, I experienced problems in 3-6 week old pups with transient diarrhea. The episodes lasted 2-3 days and, although the mortality was low, the pups experienced weigh loss and stress. The occurrence rate was about 10 percent. At a great expense to the kennel owners/trainers/and greyhound owners, scratches and performances lost through the lack of entries, due to sickness or coughing, the tracks themselves lose much revenue.
Quarantines, if put in effect at early onset, might and can stop the spread of a virus. When quarantine is initiated, dogs cannot be moved in or out of a track causing congestion. Farmers and dog haulers cannot transport to and from those racetracks.
So this year, being no exception, what with shots/nasal medication/sulfa drugs, etc. showing no effect, I needed to try a different approach.
Ed Gardner contacted me describing a formula called Health-Gard. Like most trainers, I was very apprehensive in trying a new product. After trying this bacteria-fighting agent, I was very impressed. Having a 62-crate kennel filled with maidens and approximately 50 of those greyhounds under two years of age, for me, it was a lifesaver.
I used Health-Gard in conjunction with cleaning materials -- in mop buckets and by spraying the inside kennel walls. Health-Gard was also added to the wash water for the feed pans and sprayed in the turn out pens daily. Health-Gard was added to the first turn out water buckets too.
As the sickness spread through most kennels in the compound, it never got to me. My active list was always 45 to 50 and by the end of July 2003, we find our kennel 2nd in the standings. We believe Health-Gard enhanced the immune system of our greyhounds.

In an article recently published by "Racing Pigeon Digest" and written
by George Kittredge, Mike Sherwood reveals that he uses Health-Gard.
Mike said to the auther "George, you can't write an article on me and pigeon flying without mentioning Paul Demers, my good friend and mentor in this sport for the last 34 years."
"A few years back, Paul recommended that I use Health-Gard as part of my health program." Since then, Sherwood Lofts has taken home many concourse honors. Average speed, Champion loft and Champion birds are just a few of these concourse awards.
When interviewed by Ed Gardner of Health-Gard, Paul Demers stated that 10 of the top 20 SNE Combine Flyers all use Health-Gard in their program with obvious success. Paul Demers himself has done increasingly well taking the runner up spot in the 2002 NEW ENGLAND OPEN, won that same race the next year in 2003 and placed second and third in 2004.

“A magic formula"? A health potion? Who knows? All I know is that when I used a concoction presented to me by Ed Gardner called HEALTH-GARD for the 2001 Old Bird season, my birds looked healthier than ever, and kept that way for the entire season. Just one tablespoon in a gallon of water every day maintained a glow in my loft. We had birds come home in multiple drops and on tough races the recovery of these athletes was exceptional. We had a very good old bird season and the birds performed well.
We used our regular maintaining program to start off and only twice during the races did we treat for cocci and canker and that only because we were a little skeptical of the “magic formula”, which to my understanding, is composed of all natural ingredients. When the young bird season came along I naturally had to have some more of what Ed had to offer. Not surprisingly, the results were the same.
My loft is located right amongst the trees shading the birds all summer. Keeping them in good health has always been a great challenge until now. This stuff won’t make champions out of chumps. You still have to have the “right stuff” and a decent program, but along with this “magic formula” called HEALTH-GARD your chances of competing with the guys on top will improve.”

Hello Ed,
Well I want to purchase another case of this wonderful water. I have been talking about it a lot and I think I am getting these folks motivated to purchase it. Tommy and I are feeling so much better now that we just can't imagine life without this water.
I hope that the purchase is still **** for the case. I believe as I talk about it and more start to take the water we will be selling this alot. I am finding out that people our age don't like feeling old. They don't really feel old but just can't seem to get motivated.
Tommy has said several times that he has seen a big difference in me and I can see a big difference in him. I hope that my friends that see me and they see that I'm not just sitting around and have energy more than I have had in several years, will try it.
I have gotten to fit in a pair of jeans that has been hanging in my closet for 5 years today. I believe this water has really helped. I will be bragging about this to my friends and hope that this may motivate them that way. A woman always wants to hope they can lose that middle bulge we get as we age. I think this water can help do that.
